A POST EVERY EBOOK READER SHOULD READ

If you order ebooks and would like to support your local bookstore, look up this post in Magical Musings

I am excited about this.  I plan to begin ordering my ebooks from two or three local book stores I enjoy.  They are in towns from Missouri to Massachusetts.

As you might guess, you can order in most ebook formats, but not in the Kindle format which is unique to Amazon.

And wouldn't you know, my local indie has not signed on for this, at least not yet. But Warwick's out in California has, and I do like their service.

Patti, It is a great idea. We don't have an independent bookstore which sells new books in the town where I live. I can choose other independent stores I've shopped in and liked and support them.

Naomi, I suspect more bookstores will sign on as they learn about this and see other stores using it.

Hi Joe - I really enjoy reading your blog on a regular basis. I'm looking at purchasing an e-reader after the holidays and I'm wondering if you can give me any insight as to which one to get. I've been leaning toward the Kindle but I'm wondering if I should get something like the Nook that supports color. Thanks in advance.

chewie,
I am no expert on which ereader is best. I just know I like reading on an ereader.
