I'm reading a book which is set in the west bank town of Nablus.
The book, Matt Rees' The Samaritan's Secret, reminds me of the importance of setting in the books I read. I enjoy learning about new places.
In this particular book, I'm learning, not just about the places, and the few remaining Samaritans, but also about the incredible violence and intrigue in Palestine.
All that adds to the enjoyment of my reading.
